In Irish folk legend, the hero, mystic and warrior-king, Fionn MacCumhaill acquired his great knowledge by tasting a sacred salmon from the Boyne River. Similarly, it is hoped that "Traditional Irish Cooking" will inspire a tantalizing taste for both Ireland and its celebrated cuisine.
